Unless fuel was pumped from the tank to fill the filter, it will not start. The garage _possibly_ buggered the first motor by trying to use that as the pump, which will not work. Plenty of threads on here how to use a vacuum pump to pull fuel through the filter.
Calculate the fuel vaporiser glow plug resistance by taking the 1st reading (meter only) away from the 2nd reading (glow plug). • E.g. (1st) meter reading 0.3Ω, (2nd) glow-plug reading 1.4Ω (1.4 - 0.3 = 1.1) If the fuel vaporiser glow plug resistance is 0.8 to 1.3 Ω then the glow plug is functioning correctly do not replace the fuel

hi, next weekend i plan to do a service, and clean the egr valve, on my 2002 tdci. having trawled through this excellent forum, i feel confident with the task, except i cant seem to find any info regarding changing the fuel filter. can anybody give me some advice on this, or give me a link

From the handbook: "The oil change indicator lamp will come on and remain on if the engine oil needs to be changed outside of the regular service schedule. Have the engine oil changed as soon as possible.
