Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (no, not the 2011 shooter of the same name without the Roman numerals) just launched, and it’s had an interesting few days.On top of having what many are saying
I'll be honest, I kinda forgot about it and just played as normal. When I remembered I checked and it was only the battle rage and melee one left to do. Quick switch to my riot shield/knife load out and melee was done in one game. Got about 2 Battle Rage kills left to complete it.
There were 2 things that put me on the fence. A steam review I found said that the game introduced pay to win elements in season 3. I want to know if that’s the case. And there’s no option to choose a specific game mode to play and queue up for. They’re all in a playlist for you to queue for multiple randomly selected modes. Is that the case? Middle fingers up to FUCK-tivision; the most ridiculous, money haggling, sucking gaming company in the world other than EA and Ubisoft, and ETC. No full Zombies experience, no buy. Skipped MW, Vangaurd, MW2 and will skip MW3. CoD gets boring fast without a good zombie experience.
Getting an average of 100 FPS with FidelityFX CAS and around 150 FPS with FSR 2.1. Note: playing on 1920x1080 with "extreme" settings. Hardware is Ryzen 5 5600, RX 6700 XT, 32 GB RAM. Latest AMD driver from 7th of march 2023 is installed.

I assumed the fact my account had "under review" revoked surely should have whitelisted me to avoid shit like this happening again yet clearly not the case.

I also still think that COD’s damage feedback is pretty piss poor at times. They need to work on multiplayer maps, there’s not enough of them and the options aren’t great. It’s pretty good, not sure if it’s worth $70 yet though since my main attraction is multiplayer. I think it's quite fun.

There’s little doubt most Call of Duty players will feel right at home playing Modern Warfare II as it’s a solid entry and seemingly the shooter to play this holiday season and beyond

Click to enlarge. The short answer is that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 isn't a remake of the original MW2, but it's a loose reboot that shares many of the same characters, themes, and ideas. The original Modern Warfare trilogy and the new MW series are set in different timelines, though they have some similarities in the overall plot, and the
