Old thread but I will add my 2 cents. Since Gorilla Glass 3 corning has only improved shatter resistance at the expense of scratch resistance. Victus is the first time they made it more scratch resistant and improved shatter resistance. However glass is not sapphire which has a hardness of 8.5-9 on mohs scale while a good tempered glass is
